Lic. Licio Lázaro Lagos Carrillo

Licio is the senior partner and director of Lagos Carrillo, S.C. since 2001 with more than thirty years of experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate matters, transactional and real estate operations.
Main Areas of Practice
Counsel and advisor of diverse national and foreign companies and individuals in all kinds of mergers, acquisitions, restructures, joint ventures, purchase and sale of real estate property and assets, strategies for the protection and conservation of national waters, with wide experience in several economic sectors, business development and integration.
In recent years Licio has been actively involved in relevant property and wealth planning, several transactions involving the purchase and sale of companies and assets, and joint ventures with a comprehensive approach of their legal implications.

Graduated from the Escuela Libre de Derecho with honors in 1991, with a postgraduate degree in taxation from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and specialization degrees in tax law, commercial law, corporate law, civil and commercial litigation and amparo (constitutional defense) from the Universidad Panamericana (UP).
